Last Thursday night at Beauty Bar in San Diego I was introduced by my pals The Vacation to Brooklyn based rockers The Giraffes. Their music is a twisted blend of metal, surf-rock and soulful crooning. They're playing The Knitting Factory in Hollywood tonight and will undoubtedly deliver the goods. They're halfway through their nation-wide tour. If you're not in LA tonight check out their MySpace page to see when they're coming to violate your town.
